Be inspired to act!
Artistic media and creative activism
Loesje invites to a youth exchange in The Netherlands in the
beginning of June. During this project we will produce a magazine
issue together with you. The working field of the magazine is
creative activism. Topics and content are developed together. We will
do street actions, write articles, create photographs and images, and
do a final editing session of the magazine. The produced magazine
will be printed afterwards and spread around the world for free.
We are searching for creative groups who want to engage themselves
with making an international, intercultural and creative magazine.
The project gives space to your input, ideas and visions. The
participants have experience with photography, journalism, artistic
media, and/or creative activism. We ask you to engage yourself with
the magazine and be seriously interested to cooperate in the near
future on making more issues together.
Last year a group of young people connected to Loesje International
founded the magazine Masta. It is an intercultural, open podium that
gives young people a place for their free expression, a platform for
creative activism and all kinds of creative input. We want to inspire
to act, to be engaged with the world we live in and to share ideas
and opinions. The magazine is a collage of creative forms of social
engagement and active citizenship. We spread the magazine two times
for free in about 20 countries in Europe, in the USA and in Nepal.
With this exchange project we aim to widen our network, involve more
countries and people in the magazine, and make it a widespread
international magazine for creative activism.

Practical:
- We are searching for groups of 4-5 people aged between 18 and 30
from EU countries, groups from The Netherlands and Germany are
already present.
- Food and accommodation are included, the project covers 70 percent
of the travel costs, 30 percent of the travel costs you have to
finance yourselves.
- The meeting will be 7 days including arrival and departure day.
- Before the exchange people can already contribute online with
ideas, texts and images, after the exchange the magazine will be lay
outed, printed and distributed.
